Anita Shah is a documentary producer/ director with the New York offices of Granada Television, Britain's biggest independent television production company.   For the past 4 years, Anita has been based in New York producing Emmy-nominated documentaries for the Investigative Reports series on the A&E Network, alongside reporters from The New York Times. She is currently producing the hit series Airline, also airing on A&E. Anita is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with a masters degree in Broadcast Journalism.  She also graduated with an honors degree in Economics from the University of Bristol, England.    She began her career as a local news anchor/reporter before producing documentary films.  She was awarded a Pew Fellowship for Political Reporting in 2000. She is among the Emmy panel of judges for News and Documentaries. -30-
