OUR FIRST MEETING: The SAJA-Atlanta chapter will host its inaugural meeting
on Sunday, April 28 at 2:30 PM. Our nationally renowned speaker is Sumit
Ganguly. Dr. Ganguly's most recent book was published by Columbia University
Press, "Conflict Unending: India-Pakistan Tensions Since 1947".
He is a Professor of Asian Studies and Government at University of Texas
at Austin. Dr. Ganguly has appeared on CNN in response to high profile
South Asian events as well as being quoted in leading national newspapers
including Atlanta Journal Constitution. He will be speaking on the border
conflict between India, Pakistan and Kashmir. It plans to be an informative
and riveting speech.

Atlanta meeting will take place at Emory University, White Hall Room #207.
There will be a reception immediately afterwards.
Parking
directions to Emory University's White Hall:
For Parking: After entering the front gate at Emory (off N.Decatur Rd)
please take the first left into the parking lot (behind the B. Jones Building).
Walk back up to Dowman Dr (the main road and entrance road) take a left
and cross the street. White Hall is the second building on the right (across
from the B.Jones Building). Room #207.

is welcome to attend the meeting. I hope Atlanta's many diverse communities
