KANAK MANI DIXIT is one of the most senior and respected journalists working in South Asia today. He is editor of the Nepal-based Himal, "The South Asian magazine."

He spoke at Columbia's Southern Asian Institute on his work, his magazine and his vision of South Asian Journalism.
