In January 2008, less than a month after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, SAJA and Asia Society hosted an event with Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Movement for Justice) Party.
He is now back in the U.S. as part of the publication of his new book, "Pakistan: A Personal History" and the launch of a new nonprofit organization.
We'll have a chance to talk about the dramatic changes that have taken place there since his last visit. He will discuss the political and economic scene in Pakistan; the current state of U.S.-Pakistan relations; and the regional scenario as well.
Please join us if you can.
