Falguni Lakhani is a producer/reporter for the Abrams Report on
MSNBC. A journalist and lawyer, Falguni found a way to combine her legal
knowledge with her love of journalism. Falguni was fortunate enough to be
selected to go to to Germany as a fellow in the RIAS Berlin program
last year where she worked on an interesting story about the Turkish
immigrant population in Germany. A native New Yorker, Falguni spends half her time in California
covering big legal stories with Dan Abrams. She has been a member of
Sakhi for South Asian Women since 1994 and is very active in the
pursuit to rid the world of domestic violence. She is very committed
to counseling battered woman as well as spreading awareness through -30-
Falguni graduated from St. John's Law School in 1998 and worked as
an assistant district attorney. After realizing that she missed
writing , she landed her first T.V. job with MSNBC and has been there
since. She got her major break in T.V. producing for Dan Abrams right after Sept. 11th.
