FOX News Channel is seeking an experienced Associate Producer/ Writer
Requirements:
· 3+ years of major-market or national experience.
· Must be available on weekends
· Spot news judgment, substantial live control room time.
· Ability to write with urgency, style, brevity, salesmanship; deliver substantial news in a highly-produced environment.
· Knowledge of the VIZ and tapeless systems.
· Excellent time management skills.
Position: Producer “America’s News HQ”
Location: Washington, DC
Requirements/Responsibilities:
Prior television experience writing, producing segments, researching and booking guests for live news programs. Control room experience required.
This person will be the lead writer and lead booker for a small staff that puts on four hours of live television every weekend. Also required: great communication skills, creative and “out of the box” thinking, someone who can multi-task, has a terrific attitude, and works well with a team.
A successful candidate will be an aggressive, self-starter who can interact with high profile talent and all-level guests.
Duties include but not limited to: Producing/booking segments, writing copy for the air and for the web, copyediting, editing packages, producing reporter hits, producing graphics, field producing on occasion, and pitching stories to the bureau.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of broadcast experience
Strong editorial judgment as well as strong logistical skills
Knowledge of national politics and the DC area
The ability to work well in a fast paced and intense atmosphere
Familiarity with iNews
Flexibility to work various shifts when needed
Motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a necessity
Position: Technical Producer, Fox Talk Radio Division
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
· The qualified applicant will possess 3-to-5 years overall radio experience and excellent skills operating a board during live news as well as talk shows.
· You must be well versed in the latest radio technologies and be willing to work flexible hours including weekends in a fast-paced, exciting news talk environment.
· Troubleshoot audio problems and comprehend equipment and techniques in the area of radio broadcast hardware and automation systems, as well as satellite/fiber transmission and affiliate relations are desired.
· Applicant will program all commercials into radio automation systems for daily playback, work closely with Executive and Associate Producer and meet with Production Director to produce imaging and promo content.
· Work closely with our Web Operations department on all web content pertaining to Fox Talk product and will be responsible for documentation, as well as provide cross training of peers on all broadcast equipment.
· Strong computer skills are necessary. Working knowledge of Windows, Mac, Outlook, Word, Excel, Cool Edit, Adobe, ENCO Systems and Pro Tools.
· Ability to operate technical equipment, including ENCO automation systems, digital workstations, SAS and Harris Audio Consoles, COMREX, ISDN Interfaces, intercom systems, recording devices, audio consoles and Adobe Audition / Pro Tools experience extremely important.
· Must be able to work any schedule including nights and weekends.

Location: New York
Responsibilities:
Seeking Production Assistants to assist Producers in selecting the most compelling video. Duties include but are not limited to: running scripts, finding and editing footage, research assignments, and greeting guests.
Requirements:
· Candidate must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent writing and communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree and solid knowledge of current events are required
· Demonstrated understanding of business news
· Basic knowledge of newsroom functions a must
· Internship in television news required
· Previous experience working with videotape and/or graphics preferred
· Working knowledge of iNews, Easy-Cut, and Ardendo a plus
· Must be a highly organized, mature, and a creative self-starter
