Sesh Kannan

 Sesh Kannan is the principal producer and writer for Flaneur Media. His latest production is the ITVS & CPB funded interactive documentary BEYOND THE FIRE on the experiences of teen war refugees from seven conflict zones.  His work has aired on National Geographic Channels TV, National Public Radio, PRI, VOA and Studio 360.

Prior to launching Flaneur Media (www.flaneurmedia.com) Sesh Kannan served as Managing Producer for the public radio documentary series Soundprint, the longest running documentary series on public radio.
 
Though a flaneur at heart, Sesh is hardly one to remain idle and loves a challenge. He has climbed Kilimanjaro, jumped off a bridge (with a bungee) into the Zambezi gorge, jumped off a plane and well switched from a career in geology to producing documentaries. He is currently working on his latest challenge, running the Marine Corps Marathon in October 2004 and in the process, raising $2,000 for the Walter Whitman AIDS/HIV Clinic in DC.
