Prior to immigrating to the United States, Raj was advertising and public relations manager of Firestone Tire & Rubber Company in Bombay.
For four years, Raj has served as Executive Board Member with South Asian Journalists Association and continues to be active. He is a member of Foreign Press Center, New York.
