| SUJATHA SHENOY is all business -- at work that is. Currently writing for BusinessWorld magazine, one of India's top business magazines, Sujatha has reported on the international business and political environments from Washington, D.C., New York and Chicago for a variety of Indian publications. She was the first full time foreign correspondent appointed for Business Standard newspaper, which was then part of the ABP media group, and went on to report for BusinessWorld and India Today magazines.
Sujatha's fascination with the world of business began at the Times School of Journalism training program in India. As a fresh graduate of the program, she joined The Economic Times, India's biggest business daily, just as the Indian economy was beginning to open up. Today, she's excited at the prospect of reporting on the Indian entrepreneurs making waves in the international business world; a recent cover story profiled Sycamore Networks chairman Desh Deshpande, possibly the single richest Indian today.
Sujatha holds a bachelor's degree from Lady Shriram College in New Delhi; a diploma from the Times School of Journalism; and a master's degree from American University.
She lives in Chicago with her husband, Kolin Shriram.
