NEW YORK CITY -- SAJA, the South Asian Journalists Association, is excited to launch a new program: SAJA Comes To You.

This year, instead of our annual convention in New York, we will be holding several events throughout North America.

This is our way of thanking our far-reaching base of existing members, who have been our staunch supporters for the past 15 years, and drawing new members into the fold.

We have events planned in Atlanta, Georgia; New Brunswick, New Jersey; Toronto, Canada; Berkeley, California; Boston, Massachusetts; and Washington, D.C. We will announce dates shortly.

The SAJA awards dinner will be in New York this summer.

"We are looking forward to meeting SAJA members throughout North America," said Anusha Shrivastava, SAJA Vice President. "We would love to hear about panels and workshops that members would like us to organize at these events."

We plan to hold additional events in other cities as well, based on demand and interest from members there.

Please feel free to contact SAJA's Board or email us your suggestions at sajamember [at] gmail [dot] com with SAJA Comes To You in the subject line.
