QUITTNER

JOSHUA
QUITTNER is one of the leading technology reporters in the United States
and is currently editor of Business
2.0 magazine. He arrived at Business 2.0 in April 2002 after seven
years at Time Inc. From Dec.
2001 to April 2002, Quittner served as technology editor for Time magazine
and editor of the magazine's website, Time.com. Previously, he was managing
editor of On, a monthly guide to personal technology, where he was responsible
for the editorial direction of the magazine, story development, and the
expansion of its website, Onmagazine.com. Quittner
was named one of the 20 most influential technology journalists two years
in a row by Adweek's Technology Marketing magazine and was one of Columbia
Journalism Review's "shakers and movers in New York." He also anchored
"TimeTech," a daily 60-second technology report distributed
by CBS Radio Network. Quittner advised listeners on where to go, what
to do, and how to do it on the Web. Quittner
joined Time in January 1995 after having been a staff writer for Newsday,
where he created the weekly Life in Cyberspace column. In November 1995
he moved to Pathfinder, Time Inc.'s pioneer online site, where he founded
the Netly News, a daily feed on digital news and culture. He has written
several books with his wife, Michelle Slatalla. Among them:
