Jyoti Thottam, former SAJA president and Time magazine senior editor, has been named the magazine's South Asia bureau chief.

ESPN sportscaster Kevin Negandhi, the first national South Asian sports announcer in the U.S., debuts on SportsCenter in June.

She will join the Journal's India team, where she will continue to do investigative work on health, science and the environment.
