Panelists Sonali Kohli, senior recruiter for URL Media; Anusha Shrivastava, Associate Dean for Career Development, Columbia Journalism School; and Marc Oppenheim, Founder and editor of MEO jobs and Dean at Hofstra University’s Center for University Advising, will talk through navigating the job search grind, what recruiters and managers look for in prospective candidates for journalism roles, do’s and don’ts on how you can best pitch yourself as a candidate even if you don’t fit 100 percent of the qualifications.
