5   I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.    6   If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.    7   If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. ~ JOHN 15:5-7

I want us to think about this. We are a royal priesthood, administrators of the Life of God. Jesus illustrates this priesthood by saying we are the Branches of His Tree. He was the Tree of Life in the garden, and He had Branches, which was us. The prophet said, “If you are a Christian now, you was in Him then”. But what happened? Sin came and we were put in prison. Christ died to bring us out so we can return to the priesthood, the Branches that we were in Him before sin happened.
